New Age artists
Twenty years ago, the photographer would actually burn tons of film, spend countless takes of a shot, and spend hours and hours of pushing the shutter button, just to take the most perfect shot of an event, place, or object. But nowadays, all that could be changed by literally clicking a mouse button. Enter Adobe’s Photoshop. A one stop shop of programs, scripts, and commands all jam-packed into one Picture editing software. Today’s photographers could easily take of years of your face, or lift some eyebrows with a one of a kind photograph, or fix an old dilapidated photograph of your family, just by manipulating certain scripts on your Image file. Does this give justice to what artists are nowadays? Can technology really replace the Rembrandts and da Vincis of olden times? Or are we really entering the technology wormhole, where human talent is now devoid of ingenuity, chance, and luck?
If you would ask me, today’s photographers are aided with this software. This software is here to augment and create a standard, wherein human creativity meets technological ingenuity. Adobe photoshop isn’t just about tweaking your images to provide better outcomes. It isn’t about restoring stills from a dilapidated state to a more complex and repaired one. Photoshop is all about creating New Da Vincis and Rembrandts for today’s modern setting.
