At last Skype has collaborated with a mobile device creator Nokia in order to obtain its IM and VoIP software application pre-installed on several Nokia handsets as broadcasted at Mobile World Congress according to MobileCrunch. This service is owned by EBay Company which acquired 405 million registered clients in totality by the end of the previous year. Nokia remains the major handset manufacturer worldwide.

Starting the 3rd quarter of 2009, Nokia N97 model will be receiving the initial Skype integration pursued by other N-series models. Influencing the 3G connectivity and WiFi of this model, clients are going to be capable of communicating using Skype-to-Skype calls, and also to accomplish land and mobile Skype calls for affordable costs. Ericsson already included a sort of Skype application by providing a section for the program on Xperia X1 device which functions on Windows Mobile 6.1
