Deliberate Sales of Google’s Ads Exceeded Second Quarter Revenue

Google Inc. had gained more revenue during the second quarter of this year even the profit increase was very sluggish compared before. The last part of that inconsistency troubled the investors, resulting to Google shares falling to $10.5 or 2.4% , to $432 in the trading last July 17, 2009 morning. Results of the second-quarter were published Thursday afterwards the trading market was closed.

The negative reaction of the trading highly mirrored the lofty expectations bounding Google. Because of falling less than $300 during early March, Google’s stock price rushed by almost 50 percent due to Wall Street’s confidence in the corporation  to sell additional online ads even though US toils through its most terrible recession ever since WWII.

Google Drops 200 Employees Due To Layoffs

Google Inc in San Francisco is expelling almost 200 employees’ due to the biggest layout ever. This goes to show that even the biggest lucrative industries feel the twinge of recession. The discharges were broadcasted last Thursday March 26, 2009. It has affected below 1% of 20,200 personnel of the leading search engine.

That is average unlike with the substantial shocks in newspaper, automobile, retailing and financial service industries in the previous year. Google’s layoff nonetheless is a moderate indication of the difficult times experienced worldwide.

Google came up with their latest offering. This is their latest moderator based application known as Tip Jar. The main principle of this green themed website is for users to share money saving advices and strategies in aspects like work, transit, family and others. After submitting an advice, the other members of the site can vote for the post to boost its popularity status.

Store Your Medical Records with Google Health

After several months of reports finally Google Health initiated last May a safe method to store medical accounts which can be more available, comprehensive and practical compared with the conventional paper records. And for the reason that we are not all aware of the service, which is not shocking at all provided that the nature of the information is sensitive. This is not a part where Google will take anything unconscientiously. Now, Google declared the beginning of its new considerable feature, providing users the facility to distribute their medical accounts with close peers and selected family members.

Google unites with EU antitrust Dispute Versus Microsoft

Google Earth Spotted The Lost City of Atlantis – Fact or Hoax?

For individuals who are curious about ancient myths, paranormal phenomenon, and other legends, you will certainly be glad that a tabloid like such covers accounts about those matters. This gives the people an initiative of the possible existence of Atlantis.

The data may seem convincing; however, a grid path consisting of lines seen on Google Earth map is something that is not so astonishing. This can be manmade. These gridlines are appears to be 620 miles to the west of Morocco close to Canary Islands.

Matt Cutts Expressed Regret for Google’s Penalty towards Google Japan

Recently, Google was obliged to disregard all its pride and issue a penalty towards Google Japan. We are aware that Google is robustly not in favor of paid links. Unexpectedly, Google Japan was lately discovered for availing paid blog posts as a component of a promotional operation for a latest service.

Based upon Google Blogoscoped, Google Japan was compensating bloggers to assess a latest Google widget via pay-per-post assistance named Cyberbuzz. The content was written by Akky Akimoto on Asiajin blog.

 

According to her, the articles appear like the regular contents although containing ad tags that are delicate and unnoticeable by the readers. The ad tags were misunderstood and those are in fact article-type advertisements.

"This site may harm your computer." – a Google bug?

Google’s acting really weird today. I just noticed it earlier that when you search Google using any keywords it says "This site may harm your computer."  Searching even for "Google" will get you this warning. This is basically blocking all users from getting to their searches.
